Dissect videos now available online

Documentation of the  Dissect events, organized by the Chaire Arts & Sciences and the Matters of Activity Cluster of Excellence during Berlin Science Week 2022 are now online.
Hosted in the Tieranatomisches Theater (TA T) at Humboldt-Universität Berlin, the Dissect events included  researchers from different disciplines who discussed contemporary artworks, including  Tomas Saraceno's Spiders. Konstantin Mitrokhov’s three films allow you to re-experience these fascinating events.

Alice Jarry participated in the second Dissect event, on November 4th, 2022. The event was organized in cooperation with the artist Tomàs Saraceno around the research led by the Material Form Function group and their exhibition Design Lab #13: Material Legacies at Kunstgewerbemuseum (KGM) in Berlin.

With:  socio-legal scholar Xenia Chiaramonte, microbiologist Regine Hengge, arachnologist Peter Jäger, artist and researcher Alice Jarry, behavioral ecologist Alex Jordan, a researcher in Cultural Studies Martin Mülller, and the spiders of the TA T.
