‘’L’air et ses matérialités critiques’’ at the Environnement et développment durable Conference

May 24,  2022

Alice Jarry presents ‘’L’air et ses matérialités critiques : membranes souples bio-inspirées et tangibilité d’un milieu invisible’’ at the ‘’Colloque Intersectoriel d’Art, de Design et d’Ingénierie : Environnement et Développement Durable’’ (UQAT x TAKTIC x Hexagram).
In the face of new societal and environmental challenges, interdisciplinary research is gaining a prominent role in sustainable development strategies. Collaboration between engineers, artists, and designers represents a factor of innovation and yield structuring collaborative projects. Held during ‘’Les Rencontres Interdisciplinaires d’Hexagram 2022’’, the aim of this scientific event is to present collaboration across these three disciplines to promote research-creation and R&D as well as new tools for digital design, manufacturing and prototyping.
It is also an invitation for diverse French-speaking territories (Canada-France-Tunisia) to better articulate epistemological and ontological reflections, and to communicate in an ecological mode, at the frontiers of scientific knowledge, perception, production and culture. Within the context of the FRQ-SC project ‘’Membranes souples dynamiques’’, Alice Jarry will present a paper entitled ‘’L’air et ses matérialités critiques : membranes souples bio-inspirées et tangibilité d’un milieu invisible’’
