Mihaela Eftene works in Montreal / Tio’tia:ke as the Lead Graphic Designer for Concordia Student Union. She currently is a Concordia University student completing her Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts in Computation Arts Specialization (2022). Having graduated from Vanier College’s design program in 2018 and with the “Program Award Winner” prize, she aligns her practice with the concepts of sustainability and technology. In 2019, a collaboration between Designer Mairi Watson and Mihaela Eftene brought forth the first 100% sustainable and recycled student agenda that was distributed to more than 50.000 students on campus. Her interest in bridging digital and physical media allows her to incorporate 3D modeling, visual design, and animation in her work. Miha currently experiments in learning how to create strong brandings and concepts for projects that can be creative and eye-catching.
