Emerging from a background in musical composition and performance, Patrizio McLelland is currently pursuing a Masters in Design under the supervision of Dr. Alice Jarry. At once designer/musician/artist/learner, his practice speculates upon sustainable urban futures, community care, and sociocultural accessibility within our shared civic spaces. Using curiosity as an engine to question the agency of people, places, and things, he creates space for the involvement of partners-in-crime in research-creation; provocation and fun are equally integral to his practice.

Patrizio is currently a research assistant with the Milieux Institute Speculative Life Cluster Biolab (Dir. Dr. Alice Jarry), and was previously working with the Concordia University Research Chair in Integrated Design And Sustainability for the Built Environment (Dir. Dr. Carmela Cucuzzella). His work has received distinction at Concordia's FLUX Gallery, Citéstudio's Voila! Showcase, and has been exhibited at the Visiones Sonoras festival in Morelia, Mexico.
