The Milieux Institute member’s exhibition, The Commons, takes place from September 25-29th, 2023 at Concordia University’s 4TH Space.
The Commons embodies the essence of a forum. A week of dynamic programming invites visitors to discover the projects of Milieux artists and researchers and to engage in communal activities and interdisciplinary experiments, reflecting the shared ethos of the theme.
While the exhibition runs concurrently with the Reactive Graphene Oxide Art-Science residency with(Alice Jarry, Marta Cerruti, Jacqueline Beaumont, Yiwen Chen, Jacob Landry, Philippe Vandal, Nima Zakeri), the team will engage in a discussion around environments, materiality, interdisciplinarity and collaboration with Brice Ammar-Khodja, Nora Gibson, and Gabrielle Simard.
