Brice Ammar-Khodja’ presentation "Unveiling the Invisible" at Fab Lab Armenia in Dilijan

June 2nd, 2023

"Unveiling the Invisible" is presentation by PhD student Brice Ammar-Khodja, who was this month’s focus for the Idea forum Exchange at Fab Lab Armenia Dilijan.

Brice ignited curiosity in discovering the hidden aspects of landfills and the environmental degradation that is taking place everywhere in the world and all the time, and that is not visually perceptible to the untrained mind and eye. He builds Art installations in forests and parks that discreetly put in motion all kinds of materials and particles that do not naturally belong to a given site, and suddenly, they are brought to life through motion and vibrations, and we notice them.

Brice showcases the profound impact that interdisciplinary collaboration between art and science can have in unveiling all the detailed motions and evolutions that are taking place around us and under our feet and always.

He mobilized our attention on how we can shape a healthier and more conscious world through our individual steps. No matter how small, they all count ! For example, he gave us a receipt for how to make plastic with natural fibers such as forests' mushrooms, mixed with some products and produces that are part of our kitchen’s pantries. There are so many more of such natural materials to we create together.
