Patrizio McLelland assisted teaching and led workshops for Water, Society, Ecology: Experiments in Environmental Ethnography (SOSANT9100A/B), a PhD course at the University of Oslo examining experimental approaches to the relationships between water, society, and ecology.
The course brought together environmental ethnography, sensory inquiry, and experimental methods to investigate how water shapes social, ecological, and material relationships. McLelland contributed to the course through hands-on workshops and facilitated exercises, encouraging participants to explore alternative ways of observing, documenting, and engaging with environmental phenomena.

The workshops emphasized embodied and material forms of inquiry, creating opportunities for participants to move beyond conventional ethnographic approaches and consider how experimental practices can generate new ways of understanding human and more-than-human relationships with water.
