William Couture is a student, artist and designer currently interested in urban and architectural space and its effect on people’s perceptions and movements in the contemporary city. With a focus mainly towards the textures and temporalities of mobility infrastructure, he focuses primarily on the specificities of the winter city and its climatic transformations. He uses the visual language and syntax of architecture to take an exploratory look at cities and the materiality of their infrastructure. With experience in illustration and multimedia, which he combines with a technical practice of architecture, he tries to think about new urban forms and their socio-environmental impacts.
