The Concordia University Innovation Lab hosted an open lunch on Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Materialities. Guest speakers engaged in a discussion that crossed the disciplines of engineering, fine arts and social sciences. As a society, we have never been so concerned with the need to improve the efficiency of our products. and the built environment at the same time as caring for our planet.
The four guest speakers discussed materials, membranes and coatings through various practices including research programs, exhibits, sustainable entrepreneurship projects and community practice.
